Georgia Tech's campus is about to witness a groundbreaking transformation in food delivery with the introduction of autonomous delivery robots from Starship Technologies. Tech Dining is proud to bring cutting-edge technology to offer dining convenience for students, faculty, and staff.

"Georgia Tech is known for fostering innovation and embracing new technologies," said Ryan Greene, Executive Director of Dining and Retail at Georgia Tech. "We are excited to partner with Starship Robotics to bring this innovative dining experience to our community. The convenience and accessibility offered by autonomous delivery robots align perfectly with our commitment to enhancing campus life."

Starship's robots are equipped with advanced sensors, cameras, and AI capabilities, allowing them to navigate safely and efficiently in pedestrian-heavy environments. With a track record of more than 6 million global deliveries and successful operations on 50 college campuses such as Notre Dame and Arizona State University, Starship is the leading provider of autonomous robot food delivery services.

"We are thrilled to partner with Tech Dining to introduce our autonomous delivery service to the campus community," said Chris Neider, VP of Business Development at Starship Technologies. "Our robots are designed to make campus life more convenient by providing on-demand food delivery and adding a fun element to everyday life and we believe they will enhance the campus experience for students and staff at Georgia Tech."

Students, faculty, and staff at Georgia Tech can now order their favorite meals and snacks through the Starship app and receive contactless delivery right to their desired location on campus. The robots primarily travel on sidewalks but can cross streets and climb curbs. Items will be delivered from Tech Dining’s retail locations.
